Configure the power saving settings

By configuring the power saving settings, you can save the battery's power and reduce the amount of power used.
To configure the power saving settings, select Power Save in the Setup menu.
You can set Display Off and Auto Power Off separately for when operating by battery or AC adapter.
See the table below for the options available for each setting. The defaults, if not stated, are listed in bold.

Configuring the display settings

To configure the display brightness, select Display in the Setup menu. You can select from Light / Dark.

Confirming the device information

By selecting Information in the Setup menu, you can display Software (the device's software version), Total Track (the total number of tracks saved),
Used/Remain (memory used/available), and Software License (the software license agreement for the device).
! Pressing the ENTER button while the Software License is selected shows the details of the software license agreement.

Resetting the device

To entirely restore the device back to the factory default settings, select Reset Setting in the Setup menu.
% Choose Yes and then select ENTER.
When Power will turn off automatically. is shown and the device's power turns off (standby), resetting is complete.

What it does
The display screen will turn off when no activity takes place on the device for a speci-
fied amount of time.

When the display screen is turned off, you can press any button to turn it back on.
You can configure the device so that the power turns off automatically (standby) if
there is no activity or playback is stopped for five minutes.
