Checking the Airfl ow
1.
Follow the steps for "Accessing the Inside of the System" in Section 2-5 to
remove the top chassis cover.
2.
Check that all power and data cables have been routed in such a way that
they do not block the airfl ow generated by the fans.
Providing Power
1.
Plug the power cord from the power supply unit into a high-quality power
strip that offers protection from electrical noise and power surges. It is
recommended that you use an uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
2.
Depress the power button on the front of the chassis to power up the system.
