1. Install a new system board into the chassis and align the screw holes with those in the chassis. Insert and
tighten the nine screws that secure the system board following the sequence shown in the figure below.

2. Install the microprocessor. See Installing the microprocessor.
3. Install the battery. See Installing the system board battery.
4. Install the heat sink and a memory module. See Installing the heat sink and Installing a memory module.
5. Install the riser card assembly. See Installing the riser card assembly.
6. Note the location of all cable connections on the system board and connect all cables. Locating parts
on the system board.
