Cleaning and Maintaining the Camcorder

Cleaning the VIEWFINDER

1. Pull the VIEWFINDER out.
2. As shown in the illustration, press the
fix button located on the left side of the
camcorder section adjacent to the
VIEWFINDER with a sharp object and
pull the VIEWFINDER out.
3. Clean the VIEWFINDER lens and the lens
on the camcorder with a soft cotton swab.
4. Once the cleaning is completed, place the
VIEWFINDER back on to the camcorder.

Cleaning the Video Heads

To ensure normal recording and clear
pict-ures, clean the video heads when the
play- back pictures display square
block-shaped noise or distortion or if only a
blue screen appears during playback, as
the video heads may be dirty.
1. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.
2. Insert the cleaning tape.
3. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button.
4. Press the (STOP) button after 10 seconds.
Reference
Check the quality of the picture using a videocassette.
If the picture quality has not improved, repeat the operation.
If the problem continues, contact your local authorized service
center.
Clean the video heads with the dry type cassette cleaner.

zajisÈovací tlaãítko na levé stranû
kamery tûsnû u hledáãku ostr˘m
pfiedmûtem a zcela vytáhnûte hledáãek.
3. Vyãistûte ãoãky hledáãku smotkem
vaty.
4. Jakmile ãi‰tûní dokonãíte, nasaìte
hledáãek zpût na kameru.

K zaji‰tûní normálního záznamu a jasného
obrazu je nutno video hlavy ãistit. âistûní
provádíme, kdyÏ obraz obsahuje ru‰ení
pravoúhl˘mi obrazci a nebo se pfii
pfiehrávání objeví obraz zbarven˘ modfie.
V takové pfiípadû mohou b˘t video hlavy
zneãi‰tûny.
1. Nastavte spínaã kamery do polohy
PLAYER.
2. VloÏte do kamery ãistící kazetu.
3. Stisknûte tlaãítko (PLAY/STILL).
4. PfiibliÏnû po 10 sekundách stisknûte
tlaãítko (STOP).
