Causes
The printer is out of toner (C). Replace the toner cartridge
The printer is out of toner (M). Replace the toner cartridge
The printer is out of toner (Y). Replace the toner cartridge
A communication error sent
from the engine to the control-
ler.
The paper size and type set-
ting in the tray differs from
that of actual paper size and
type in the tray.
An attempt to check the radio
signal was made while the
communication mode was set
to [Ad hoc] in the interface set-
tings.
The cover for the duplex unit
is open.
The front cover for the finisher
is open.
The upper right cover (the
cover for the toner cartridge)
is open.
The finisher upper cover is
open.
The paper entrance cover for
the finisher is open.
The front cover is open.

Turn the power off and then
on. If the message appears
again, contact your sales or
service representative.
Load {paper size and type} pa-
per in the selected feed direc-
tion into the tray, and then
change the paper size and
type using the control panel.
Or, press { { { { Form Feed} } } } , and
then select the tray using the
control panel.
Or, press { { { { Job Reset} } } } to cancel
the print job.
To check the radio signal, se-
lect Infrastructure in the com-
munication mode settings.
Close the cover for the duplex
unit.
