Removing a CD or DVD drive
To remove a CD or DVD drive from bays 1 or 2, complete the following steps.
1. Read the safety information that begins on page vii and "Installation guidelines"
2. Turn off the server and all peripheral devices; then, disconnect the power cords
3. Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 61).
4. Remove the bezel (see "Removing the bezel" on page 63).
5. Disconnect the cables from the drive that is to be removed.
6. Press the blue latch to release the drive; then, grasp the drive and pull it out of
7. If you are replacing the drive with a new drive, remove the drive retainer clip
