– Touch [Weight] to select the desired paper weight.
If unsuitable selection is made, the binding operation will not be
performed. Select the desired one from [20-24 lb], [25-35 lb], [36-
43 lb], and [44-57 lb].
The binding operation may not be performed even if one of the pa-
per weight mentioned above is specified. For details, see POD Ad-
ministrator's reference.
– Touch [OK].
– Check the current tray setting of the cover tray.
If setting change other than paper size, type, and weight, use [Tray
Setting] from the Machine Status Screen.
– Touch [Close], then touch [OK] to return to the Perfect Binding
Screen.

Specify the cover print setting.
– This setting is available when one of the tray 1 to 8 is specified as
the cover tray source.
– Select [On] to print on covers, or [Off] to attach blank covers.
– Also select [Simplex] to print only on the front side, or [Duplex] to
have both front and back sides printed.
