Touch [COPY] tab to display the Copy Screen, select the tray loaded
with paper for body sets, and change the paper setting as required.
– The paper size will be detected automatically.
If paper weight specified for the tray loaded with paper for body
sets is inadequate, the binding operation cannot be performed. Se-
lect either [17-19 lb Bond] or [20-24 lb Bond].
– The binding operation may not be performed even if the paper
weight mentioned above is specified. For details, see POD Admin-
istrator's reference.
The number of body set may be limited depending on the selected
paper weight. For details, see POD Administrator's reference.

Touch [Output Setting], then touch [Perfect Bind].
The Perfect Binding Screen will be displayed, and the heater of the per-
fect binder automatically starts warming up. The warmup takes ap-
proximately 20 minutes.
If you previously know the time to use the perfect binder, calculate the
timing to turn on the heater with required warmup time, then manually
turn it on by touching [ON] of PB switch on the Machine Status Screen.
