Ogni 3000 km controllare lo spessore delle pastiglie
freni:
I Spessore minimo del materiale d'attrito mm. 1,5.
Se lo spessore minimo del materiale d'attrito è inferiore
al suddetto valore, è necessario cambiare le pastiglie.
Dopo la sostituzione non occorre eseguire lo spurgo
degli impianti frenanti, ma è sufficiente azionare le leve
di comando ripetutamente fino a riportare i pistoncini
delle pinze nella posizione normale.
In occasione della sostituzione delle pastiglie, verificare
le condizioni delle tubazioni flessibili; se danneggiate
devono essere immediatamente sostituite.
N.B. - In caso di sostituzione delle pastiglie è
opportuno, per i primi 100 km, agire sui freni
con moderazione, al fine di permettere un corretto
assestamento delle stesse.
Controllo dischi freni
I dischi freni devono essere perfettamente puliti, senza
olio, grasso od altra sporcizia e non devono presentare
profonde rigature.
La coppia di serraggio delle viti che fissano i dischi ai
mozzi è di kgm 3÷3,2.
IMPORTANTE! - Non manomettere i compo-
nenti riguardanti l'impianto frenante ed il grup-
po sospensione posteriore. L'eventuale sostituzio-
ne di componenti degli impianti sopra citati deve
essere eseguita con ricambi originali presso le sedi
dei nostri concessionari.
Checking brake pads wear
Check the thickness of the brake pads every 3000 km:
I Wear limit 1.5 mm.
If the pads are below the wear limit they should be
changed.
There is no need to bleed the brakes when the new pads
have just been fitted; pumping the brake lever a few
times will return the caliper pistons to their normal
position.
When changing the pads, also check the flexible hoses;
if damaged they should be replaced immediately.
N.B. - Use the brakes with moderation for the
first 100 km after fitting new brake pads, to
allow the pads to get properly bedded in.
Checking brake disks
The brake disks must be perfectly clean, with no oil,
grease or other dirt on them. They should also show no
signs of scoring.
The torque wrench setting of the screws that fix the disk
to the hubs is 3÷3,2 kgm.
IMPORTANT! - Do not change the braking
system components and the rear suspension
assy. These components must be replaced with
original spare parts only and the operation must be
done by authorized technicians only.
