Proper lubrication is important for safe, smooth
operation and long life of each working part of
your vehicle. Pay attention to the need for lubri-
cation when you perform periodic maintenance
on the vehicle. Be sure to have your authorized
HYOSUNG dealer perform a general lubrication
as shown in the maintenance chart on page 25.
Your authorized HYOSUNG dealer will lubricate
such items as wheel bearings, rear axle hous-
ings, steering shaft holder, etc.
This troubleshooting guide is provided to help
you identify the cause of some common com-
plaints.
Something is probably wrong with the fuel sys-
tem or ignition system.
Engine is hard to start or
does not start at all.
1. Make sure there is adequate fuel in the fuel
tank.
2. Check that the engine stop switch is in the
position.
3. Check that the remote engine stop switch cap
is installed on the remote engine stop switch.
4. Make sure there is enough fuel reaching the
carburetor from the fuel tank.
a. Loosen the drain screw which is located
under the carburetor and drain the fuel
from the carburetor.
b. Tighten the drain screw.
c. Remove the spark plug.
d. Loosen the drain screw and check that
the carburetor is filled back up with fuel.
e. If it has been determined that fuel is
reaching the carburetor, the ignition sys-
tem should be checked next.
