before performing the updating operation saves the old virus-definition
databases to the defined location.

The switch –a=path cannot be used together with the switch –kb!
-p[=num]
defines the maximum number of simultaneously downloaded files. The
default value is num=16.
-udp=directory
upgrades the installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus for xBSD File Server
components from the defined directory.
-uip=server_and_path
upgrades the installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus for xBSD File Server
components from the defined location on the defined server.
-uipd=server_and_path
downloads new releases of the software from the defined location on
the defined server without upgrading the installed programs.
-g[=base]
saves information about the last upgrade in the defined database. The
default value is base=defUnix.
-vb[=directory/filename]
detects the version of virus-definition databases with the defined file
name located within the defined directory.
-v
displays the Updater version.
-b[=directory]
defines the target directory with current virus-definition databases (the
default directory that is defined in the BasePath line in AvpUnix.ini). For
example,
./kavupdater -b=/home/user1/AVP/bases.
