We recommend that you update the anti-virus databases immediately after the installation of the product if this was not performed during the installation! For Linux, the databases are updated by running the *update script from the command line.

OPERATING PATTERN OF KASPERSKY ANTI-VIRUS FOR LOTUS ® NOTES/DOMINO ® Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Lotus Notes/Domino is designed for protection of messages of Lotus Notes/Domino version R5 and R6 and higher. SETTING UP THE ANTIVIRAL PROTECTION PARAMETERS All the incoming/outgoing mail messages of the Domino server are scanned and processed by the Monitor module, while the database files are scanned and processed by the Scanner module. Setting up the antiviral protection parameters 5.4.1. Identifying return codes and object statuses After scanning an object the antiviral kernel returns a code to the program. This code is called the ‘antiviral kernel response’. If the code is unknown, the Undefined reply rules will be applied to the object.
