been detected in the file or sector.
Disinfected: <VIRUS_NAME> – the defined virus has been successfully
deleted from the file/sector.
Deleted <VIRUS_NAME> – the object infected with the defined virus has
been deleted.
Disinfection failed: <VIRUS_NAME> – the object is infected by the
defined virus and the program cannot disinfect it, because: the
object is infected in a so-called incorrect way, is located on a
write-protected disk, or is controlled by some other program, etc.
Warning: <VIRUS_NAME> – the program detected the instruction
combination that is similar to the defined virus, but the complete
instruction set was not detected. If you see a lot of these

detected a chain of instructions similar to the defined virus type.
Corrupted – the file contents don't correspond to the file format.
I/O error – the file or sector is located on a write-protected disk or a
system error has occurred. This message is also displayed if the
program tried to open a file that is write-protected by the system.
Packed: <PACK_NAME> – the file is packed or immunized using the
defined packing utility. This message will be displayed only if the
scanner is preset to report packed objects.
Archive: <ARCHIVE_NAME> – the file is an archive that was created with
the defined archiver. This message will be displayed only if the
scanner is preset to report archived objects.
Unknown format – the archive/pack cannot be extracted/unpacked
because it is corrupted or was created using a new version of the
archiving/packing utility.
