2. Define the new user name in the USER line of the file
_httpd.conf located in the directory conf/.
Note, that if the server is started manually, it must be started by the user
defined in the USER line or by the root user that will be later automatically
substituted for the user defined in the USER line.

you must have the corresponding rights. Only the users listed in the
.htpasswd file are authorized to access the web server root directory
and the directories with the program executable files.

you must generate the access file. For details of how to generate the
.htpasswd file refer to step 5 in subchapter 10.3.2. The login and the
password are prompted by the web server when a user calls up
WebTuner.

file (AvpUnix.ini);
read, write and execute files within the directory for
temporary files of WebTuner (html/tmp);
read, write and execute files within the directory
containing the WebTuner executable files
(html/cgi-bin);
write and execute files within the directory containing
reports (log/);
read and execute files within the directory containing
the web server configuration file (conf/);
execute files within the directory bin/.
