10.7.1. Daemon settings

WebTuner allows you to remotely administrate the Daemon program, i.e. to
edit the program profile, to launch it and to review the performance report.
When you select the Daemon program from the list of controllable
programs in the WebTuner main window the following hyperlinks appear
at the bottom of the window: run, config, default config and view log
(see Figure 20). These are the links allowing you to display windows with
Daemon-related options and commands.
The Daemon parameters and the values are located within a profile defined
in the DefaultProfile line of AvpUnix.ini (the default profile is defUnix.prf).

T o edit parameters of the profile defined in the Kaspersky Anti-
Virus for xBSD File Server initialization file, follow these steps:
1. Click the default config hyperlink.
2. Edit the Daemon settings using appropriate hyperlinks in the
window on your screen (for details refer to subchapter 10.7.2).
