10.7.2. Remote configuration of the
Daemon program

10.7.2.1. The Profile tuning window

WebTuner allows you to edit profiles of the Daemon program.
The settings defined from WebTuner can be saved to the default profile as
well as to any other profile that can be assigned to the daemon process, for
example, by using the –F switch in the Daemon command line.
The Profile tuning window (see Figure 21) contains the following items:
Hyperlinks allowing you to switch to the following pages:
Buttons (apply to all the pages):
The objects page contains the list of directories to be
scanned for viruses (for details refer to
subchapter 10.7.2.2).
The options page items allow you to define the
scanning settings (for details refer to
subchapter 10.7.2.3).
The actions page items allow you to define how to
handle infected and suspicious objects detected within
the examined location (see subchapter 10.7.2.4).
The report page items allow you to define the format
and the contents of the program reports (for details refer
to subchapter 10.7.2.5).
The customs page items allow you to define the
advanced scanning settings (for details refer to
subchapter 10.7.2.6).
save – saves the defined settings to the default profile.
save as... – saves the defined settings to a profile
different from the default one.
exit – allows you to exit the Profile tuning window
without saving the redefined settings.
