The [Customize] section parameters define the advanced program
performance settings.
UpdateCheck – Yes in this line enables the program to remind you
about the need to update your virus-definition databases. No
disables this feature.
UpdateInterval – the interval (in days) between the two reminders
(valid only if UpdateCheck=Yes).
OtherMessages – Yes in this line enables error reporting at the program
start. No disables this feature.
RedundantMessage – Yes in this line enables the program to ask for
confirmation when enabling the redundant scanning tool (valid
only if RedundantScan=Yes). No disables this feature.
DelleteAllMessage – Yes in this line enables the program to ask for
confirmation when deleting an infected object (valid only if
InfectedAction=3). No disables this feature.
ExitOnBadBases – Yes in this line enables the program to shut down
when the corrupted virus-definition databases are detected. No
disables this feature.
UseExtendedExitCode – Yes in this line enables the program to report
the performance results using the extended exit codes. No
disables this feature.
As mentioned above, the program does not automatically load settings
from a profile different from that defined in the .ini file. Therefore, if you
want to load these settings, define the switch -F=profile_name in the
command line or the profile name in AvpUnix.ini.
