LESSON 18
Exporting and Importing Structured Files
15 Compare the formatting with other outputs you have done in this lesson.
The results you see are based on default interpretations of the elements and paragraph
tags in CIBColorFinal.fm. Read User's Guide.pdf, provided in the WebWorks Publisher
Standard Edition folder called "pdfs."

Review questions
1 To create bookmarks for a PDF in Structured FrameMaker 7.0, what do you use instead
of paragraph tags?
2 In the Bookmark Source pop-up menu, what do you choose?
3 What are two ways to get your XML file into a browser to view it?
4 Can an .xml file be converted to a .fm file?
5 What are the four parts of a WebWorks Publisher project for converting FrameMaker
files into XML files?
Answers
1 Element tags are used instead of paragraph tags.
2 Elements should be chosen in the pop-up menu.
3 Drag the XML file to the open browser window and drop it on the page, or type the
XML file's directory path into the browser's URL navigation box.
4 Yes, an .xml file can be converted to a .fm file. A round trip is the conversion of a .fm
file to an .xml file and then back again from an .xml file to a .fm file.
5 A WebWorks Publisher projects consists of:
• A list of FrameMaker source documents; a list of FrameMaker tags (and how they will
be converted); support files (.css file); output files (.xml and .html).
