About JavaScript in Acrobat
In Acrobat, you can use the Adobe-enhanced JavaScript in your PDF documents to
perform calculations, respond to user actions, validate user data, process multiple PDF
documents in batch sequences, and control the behavior of the document. You can add life
to your PDF documents by invoking JavaScript when a user opens or closes a page or a
file, clicks a bookmark or link, or enters data in a form field. (See
Using actions for
special
effects.)
