SAFETY WARNINGS This user manual is an integral part of Sirius actuators and must be read carefully before using them as it provides important information regarding the safety of installation, use and maintenance. Keep if intact and secure. The actuator cannot be used by children under the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or without experience or the necessary knowledge, unless under supervision or after we have received instructions relating to the same. its safe use and an understanding of the dangers inherent to it. Do not allow children to play with the actuator or its controls, including remote controls or similar. Cleaning and maintenance to be carried out by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children. The actuator is equipped with electronic limit switches, however the force developed is sufficient to cause damage from impact, cutting, crushing or shearing in the event of non-compliance with the safety rules Field of application: the actuator can only be used in compliance with what is declared in the section "Field of Application". Any other use or applications not present in this section must be authorized by UCS. Consult UCS Technical Support. Check that the system complies with applicable regulations and laws. Specifically, check the stroke and the opening clearance, the opening time and speed, the temperature and relative humidity range of the actuator and the other components of the system. Check the type of power supply cables and their section according to the length of the wiring, the current absorption and the standards in force. USER MANUAL USER MANUAL Observe the following warnings when using the actuator: • avoid seepage of liquids into the actuator; • do not approach the moving parts until they have stopped completely; • visually check at least once a year that the power cable is not damaged and that there are no other signs of wear; • do not work on the actuator, do not open or disassemble parts of the actuator; in case of anomalies or damaged cable, contact “UCS - Ultraflex Control Systems srl”. INSTALLATION The installation instructions, including the parts relating to the safety warnings contained in this section, are intended for qualified personnel specialized in the electrical and mechanical installation of the actuators. An incorrect application or improper assembly can cause the loss of system functionality with consequent damage to property and/or people. Install the actuator using only original parts and accessories. Make sure that, depending on the position of installation and the sash opening movement, there is no risk that people can get trapped between the moving part of the window and the fixed objects in the surrounding environment (i.e. walls or shelves). Moving edges which can cause damage from crushing, shearing, cutting, impact, etc., must be protected up to a height of 2.5 m from the ground to avoid harming people. Bottom-hinged windows must be equipped with stop compasses that allow movement of the sash suited to the characteristics of the actuator; in any case, the opening stroke of the window, limited by the stop compasses, must be slightly higher than that performed by the actuator. -

UCS products are not designed to operate in explosive environments. In the event of breakdowns or incorrect operation, the actuators must not be used until the Technical Assistance Service has completed the repairs The original configuration of the actuator must never be modified, except as prescribed in this manual. -

USER MANUAL USER MANUAL • The manufacturer of the "motorized window" machine or his agent (architect, specialist planner) are obliged to assess the dangers for people, which arise from the use, the installation position, the opening parameters and the external control unit of the motorized window, already in the design phase, to establish the necessary protection measures. • The manufacturer/producer of the "power window" machine must implement the planned protection measures in the place of installation or, if not yet established, determine them on his own responsibility and detect or minimize possible residual risks A risk assessment in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for the use of the motorized window for natural ventilation is absolutely necessary under the following conditions: • installation height of the drive and / or lower edge of the housing <2.5 m above the walking surface and • the opening width of the mobile edge of the window> 200 mm, or • the closing speed of the moving edge of the window> 15 mm/s, or • the opening speed of the moving edge of the window> 50 mm/s, or • the closing force of the mobile edge of the window> 150 N The following flow chart can be applied, which also includes the protective measures according to EN 60335-2-103. 5. STORAGE OF ACTUATORS ON SITE Protective measures must be taken against damage, dust, moisture, etc. Store actuators for a limited period and only in dry, well-ventilated areas. INSPECTION BEFORE INSTALLATION Before installation, check the windows and actuators to verify their good mechanical conditions and the integrity of the supply. The sash must be able to move smoothly and must be able to carry out the entire planned stroke without encountering obstacles. Bottom hinged windows must be equipped with stop compasses. TESTING THE ACTUATORS The actuator test procedure should be performed on a stable, non-slip surface or test fixture. While performing the test on the actuator, pay attention to the absence of obstacles that could interfere with its movement. The test can only be conducted by or under the supervision of experienced personnel. To test the actuators, use the electrical connection diagrams shown in this manual and power sources compatible with the product specifications. The actuator must be tested for use in accordance with the indications given in the “Field of application” section of this manual. If the actuator application does not conform to what is stated in this section, UCS — Ultraflex Control Systems' liability and warranty are void. The support surface of the brackets and connectors on the frame or on the hinged door must be completely contained within the space occupied by the parts of the window. These components must be secured in such a way that there is no play that could cause oscillations of the connectors and brackets during the movement of the actuator Before proceeding with the installation, check that: • the performance of the actuator is adequate for the intended application • the window profiles and accessories are adequately sized for the stresses produced by the actuator • the window accessories (hinges) and the absence of obstacles allow the complete opening stroke • the existing electrical systems comply with current regulations •... -

Once the actuator has been removed from the window, the latter must be properly fixed in order to prevent involuntary movements. 14. La pulizia e la manutenzione destinata ad essere effettuata dall’utilizzatore non deve essere effettuata da bambini senza sorveglianza. L’attuatore è equipaggiato con fine corsa elettronici, tuttavia la forza sviluppata è sufficiente per provocare danni da urto, taglio, schiacciamento o cesoiamento in caso di mancato rispetto delle regole di sicurezza. Campo di applicazione: l’attuatore può essere usato esclusivamente in conformità con quanto dichiarato nella sezione “Campo di Applicazione”. Qualsiasi altro utilizzo o applicazioni non presenti in tale sezione, devono essere autorizzati da UCS. Consultare l’Assistenza Tecnica UCS. Verificare che il sistema sia conforme ai regolamenti e alle leggi in vigore. In particolare controllare la corsa e l’area di apertura, il tempo e la velocità di movimentazione, il campo di temperatura e di umidità relativa dell’attuatore e degli altri componenti del sistema. MANUALE D’USO MANUALE D’USO IT IT Durante l’uso dell’attuatore osservare le seguenti avvertenze: • evitare penetrazione di liquidi nell’attuatore; • non avvicinarsi alle parti in movimento fino al completo arresto delle stesse; • controllare visivamente almeno una volta all’anno che il cavo di alimentazione non sia danneggiato e non siano presenti altri segni di usura; • non effettuare interventi sull’attuatore, non aprire o smontare parti dell’attuatore; in caso di anomalie o cavo danneggiato rivolgersi a “UCS – Ultraflex Control Systems srl”. INSTALLAZIONE Le istruzioni di installazione, comprese le parti relative alle avvertenze per la sicurezza contenute in questa sezione, sono rivolte a personale qualificato e specializzato nell’installazione elettrica e meccanica degli attuatori. Una applicazione scorretta o un improprio montaggio possono causare la perdita della funzionalità del sistema con conseguenti danni a cose e/o persone. Installare l’attuatore utilizzando esclusivamente parti ed accessori originali. Assicurarsi che, in funzione della posizione di installazione e del movimento di apertura dell’anta, non ci sia il rischio che le persone possano rimanere intrappolate tra la parte mobile del serramento e gli oggetti fissi dell’ambiente circostante (ad esempio i muri o eventuali scaffali). Per evitare danni alle persone, i bordi mobili che possono causare danni da schiacciamento, cesoiamento, taglio, urto, ecc, devono essere protetti fino ad un’altezza di 2.5 m da terra. I serramenti a vasistas devono essere provvisti di compassi di arresto che consentano un movimento dell’anta adeguato alle caratteristiche dell’attuatore; in ogni caso la corsa di apertura del serramento, limitata dai compassi d’arresto deve essere leggermente superiore a quella effettuata dall’attuatore. Verificare gli sforzi sull’attuatore utilizzando le formule di calcolo presenti nella sezione "Installazione". Le tipologie, le lunghezze e le sezioni dei cavi dell’impianto devono essere scelte in base alle specifiche funzionali indicate nel presente manuale e devono essere conformi alle norme vigenti. -

I prodotti UCS non sono progettati per funzionare in ambienti con pericolo di esplosioni. In caso di guasti o non corretto funzionamento, gli attuatori non devono essere utilizzati fino a quando il Servizio Assistenza Tecnica non abbia ultimato l’intervento di riparazione. -

MANUALE D’USO MANUALE D’USO IT IT Pertanto, a titolo precauzionale, segnaliamo quanto segue: • Il costruttore della macchina "finestra motorizzata" o il suo agente (architetto, pianificatore specializzato) sono obbligati a valutare i pericoli per le persone, che nascono dall'uso, dalla posizione di installazione, dai parametri di apertura e dall'unità di controllo esterna della finestra motorizzata, già in fase di progettazione, per stabilire le necessarie misure di protezione. • Il costruttore / produttore della macchina "finestra motorizzata" deve attuare le misure di protezione pianificate nel luogo di installazione o, se non ancora stabilite, determinarle di propria responsabilità e rilevare o ridurre al minimo i possibili rischi residui. Una valutazione del rischio in conformità con la Direttiva macchine 2006/42 / CE per l'uso della finestra motorizzata per la ventilazione naturale è assolutamente necessaria nelle seguenti condizioni: • altezza di installazione dell'azionamento e/o bordo inferiore dell'alloggiamento <2,5 m sopra il piano di calpestio e • la ampiezza di apertura del bordo mobile del serramento > 200 mm, oppure • la velocità di chiusura del bordo mobile del serramento > 15 mm / s, oppure • la velocità di apertura del bordo mobile del serramento > 50 mm / s, oppure • la forza di chiusura del bordo mobile del serramento > 150 N È possibile applicare il seguente diagramma di flusso, che comprende anche le misure di protezione secondo EN 60335-2-103. 5. Prima di procedere con l’installazione, controllare che siano presenti tutte le parti elencate e che non ci siano segni visibili di danno. Smaltire tutto il materiale d’imballo nel rispetto dell’ambiente. 11. TEST DEGLI ATTUATORI La procedura di prova degli attuatori deve essere eseguita su una superficie stabile e antiscivolo o su un dispositivo di prova. Durante l'esecuzione del test sull’attuatore, porre attenzione all’assenza di ostacoli che possano interferire con il suo movimento. Il test può essere condotto solo da o sotto la supervisione di personale esperto. Per testare gli attuatori, utilizzare gli schemi di collegamento elettrico riportati nel presente manuale e sorgenti di alimentazione compatibili con i dati di targa. L’attuatore deve essere testato per un utilizzo conforme a quanto riportato nella sezione “Campo di applicazione” presente in questo manuale. Se l’applicazione dell’attuatore non fosse conforme a quanto riportato in tale sezione, la responsabilità di UCS—Ultraflex Control Systems e la garanzia decadono. La superficie di appoggio delle staffe e dei connettori sul telaio o sull’anta battente deve essere completamente contenuta nell’ingombro delle parti del serramento. Il fissaggio di tali elementi deve essere eseguito in maniera che non siano presenti giochi che possano causare oscillazioni di connettori e staffe durante il movimento dell’attuatore Prima di procedere all’installazione verificare che: • le prestazioni dell’attuatore siano adeguate all’applicazione prevista • i profili e gli accessori del serramento siano adeguatamente dimensionati per le sollecitazioni prodotte dell’attuatore •... -

MANUALE D’USO MANUALE D’USO IT IT MANUTENZIONE Gli attuatori non sono soggetti a manutenzione. Attuatori danneggiati o non funzionanti possono essere riparati esclusivamente da UCS—ULTRAFLEX CONTROL SYSTEMS Srl. In caso di ricambi utilizzare solo accessori originali. In caso di danneggiamento del cavo, questo deve essere sostituito da UCS—ULTRAFLEX CONTROL SYSTEMS Srl. Effettuare frequenti ispezioni visive per controllare che non ci siano danneggiamenti ed usura anomala dei componenti e del cavo elettrico. Al termine delle operazioni di controllo, verificare la corretta apertura e chiusura della finestra. CORRETTO SMALTIMENTO DEL PRODOTTO Non gettare mai l’attuatore fra i rifiuti domestici. Smaltirlo in un apposito centro di raccolta o nella discarica da cui dipende il vostro comune. In caso di dubbio, contattare il proprio centro di raccolta differenziata. Smaltire tutto il materiale d’imballo nel rispetto dell’ambiente Le operazioni di smontaggio dell’attuatore dal serramento devono essere compiute seguendo, in senso inverso quanto descritto nelle istruzioni di montaggio. Assicurarsi di disconnettere l’attuatore dalla rete elettrica prima di iniziare lo smontaggio dello stesso dal serramento. Una volta smontato l’attuatore dal serramento, quest’ultimo deve essere fissato in maniera appropriata in modo da impedire movimenti involontari. 14. CONDIZIONI DI GARANZIA LE PRESENTI CONDIZIONI DI GARANZIA CONTENGONO L’INTERO ACCORDO TRA UCS E L’ACQUIRENTE E SOSTITUISCONO TUTTI I PRECEDENTI IMPEGNI E RAPPRESENTANZE SIA SCRITTE CHE VERBALI, TRA L’ACQUIRENTE E UCS.
