The actuator is intended for the electromotive opening and closing of windows. It is suitable for indoor use, only. • NANO DC is provided with 1.5 m cable without selectable features (Synchronization, feedback signal and speed selection). The quiet operation is ensured by the slow speed (4 mm/s) for natural ventilation. NANO DC actuators with maximum speed are available as standard; quite operation is available on request. - Page 10 (max 4 actuators), avoiding any external control panel. The quiet operation is activated by UCS C-SV Control Panels; normally, window opens in 60 seconds at maximum speed. SYNCHRO NANO versions provide also open/ close feedback. Cable connection possible on both sides.

USER MANUAL MANUALE D’ISTRUZIONI 8.2.5 Cable connection ..Insert the connector “1” into the proper space on the actuator and make sure it is locked. To carry out the main connection, use a 5-pole cable “2”; for the connection between two actuators, use a 5-pole cable “3” (see the picture below). Insert the supplied rubber plug “4” into the actuator end which is not used. -

1 minute (see table in chapter 6) so that the actuator can be used for smoke exhaust according to standard EN12101-2. • If the input is powered at 24V, the actuator works in “silent ventilation” (SV) mode, always working at the minimum speed (4mm/s). The C-SV units made by UCS can manage the automatic commutation between the two modes mentioned above: just connect the actuator SV input to terminal “+” of output 24V_AUX. Upon previous request by the customer, UCS can permanently enable the SV function during production. CONTROL UNIT/ +24V for SV function CENTRALE C-SV +24V per funzione EFC EXAMPLE-ESEMPIO C-SV UCS CONTROL UNIT The C-SV UCS control units command the smoke and the heat extraction in case of fire and also they allow daily ventilation by opening a single or several windows. The control units are equipped with buffer batteries and they command 24 Vdc actuators. -

Always check the tightness of fastenings and clamping screws and replace worn or damaged parts and cables using original spare parts, only. At the end of the maintenance operations, check the proper opening and closing of the window. -
