4.6.3 Connecting PoE Power Cables

Follow these steps to connect the PoE power cables:
1) Loosen the nuts on the PoE terminal block cover and remove the cover.
2) Loosen the nuts of the PoE terminal block on the rear panel of the switch.
(1) NEG (-) terminal for connecting external
PoE power supply
(3) COM port (for monitoring external PoE
power supply)

3) Connect the –48V OT terminal of the PoE power cable marked with "–48V" to the
NEG (-) terminal on the switch and fasten the nut. Connect the other end to the
NEG (-) terminal on the panel of the external PoE power supply.
