Power LED
Green indicates the system has adequate power and is
operating normally.
Red indicates the system is off. The controller hardware
has 12V DC power, but the board is powered off.
Off indicates that the system is not receiving AC power.
4
Status LED
Green indicates the Host has established communications
with the FRC-P100.
Green flashing indicates the FTC-P100 is ready (running
with DHCP IP address), but the Host has not established
communications with the FTC-P100.
Off indicates the embedded processor is resetting or is
booting the embedded firmware.
Red indicates the Host has determined the firmware needs
to be updated, but a problem occurred during the process
that will initiate a reset.
Red flashing indicates the embedded firmware is running,
but has not received a DHCP IP Address.
Amber indicates the Host is currently updating the
embedded firmware.

This procedure will clear a static IP address, which has been set up by the installer using the
embedded scanner, RPMembscanner— a Savant specific program located in the RacePoint
Blueprint™ folder and installed when you load RacePoint Blueprint™ on your computer.

RJ-45 10/100Base-T, auto-negotiating port allows
communication between a remote computer and the
embedded CPU at 10/100 data rates.
Green (right) indicates an Ethernet speed of 100 Mb; when
Off indicates an Ethernet speed of 10 Mb.
Green (left) indicates Ethernet data activity.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is supported on this port.
RJ-45 ports used to transmit and receive serial binary data
transmission.
General Purpose Input and Output port—uses 3-pin screw-
down connector. The digital GPIO ports are binary I/O ports
used for contact closure, trigger (output), or detect (input). R
is reserved (not used). The COM pin is used for common
ground. Pin 1 is used for input or output.
When configured as an input, the port detects a voltage
present (GPIO input). GPIO inputs can safely detect the
presence of a voltage of 0-30V DC with a threshold of
approximately 2.4V DC.
When configured as an output, a GPIO port outputs a
voltage between 0-12V DC. The maximum current per port
is 150 milliamps. An overcurrent condition shuts down the
output until that condition is removed.
This port provides dry contacts (open/closed) to control
devices requiring basic on/off operation. A single relay port
can carry a maximum of 30V DC with a maximum current of
1.0 amps. Input from a device to the Savant controller is not
supported through a relay. Uses a 3-pin screw-down
connector.
Infrared serial transmitter output ports—use 6-pin screw
down connectors.
Analog stereo audio can be input through the left/right
analog audio input RCA ports.
The VGA connector can support VGA resolutions up to
1920x1200@60Hz. It can also support Component Video
resolutions to 1080p@60hz using a RGB to VGA conversion
cable (not included).
HDMI Type A input ports provide HDMI audio and video
input at video resolutions to 1080p@60hz and graphics
resolutions to 1920x1200@60Hz. The Audio input can be
SPDIF digital Audio, I2S, and HD audio formats.
This port outputs audio and video over a single SC
terminated OM3 multimode fiber. It supports video
resolutions to 1080p@60hz and graphics resolutions to
1920x1200@60Hz. The audio format can be SPDIF digital
audio, I2S, and HD audio formats.
The ground terminal must be connected to an external
ground reference when using PoE.
Connects 12V DC input power to FTC-P100. Provides initial
power up to unit.
