IMPORTANT! In the descriptions below, Home Network refers to
the local Wi-Fi or wired network.
Reset

Press and Release - Reboots the Director Lite, and all
settings are left intact.
Press and hold (5 secs) - Press and hold for 5 seconds
until the Status LED blinks red, then release. The Director
Lite reboots, the network settings are cleared, and it

returns to provisioning mode.
Press and hold (10 secs) - Factory Reset. Press and hold
Reset
for 10 seconds until the Status, and Wi-Fi LEDs blink
(Button)
red, then release. After the reboot, the network settings,
configuration, logs, and passwords are all cleared.
NOTE! The Director Lite will continue to be associated
with a Home in the Savant Cloud. A call to Savant Support
may be necessary to redeploy it to a different Home.

Amber - The Director Lite is booting/rebooting.
Amber Blinking - The Director Lite is ready to be added to
a Home Network or be set up to function in Access Point
(Local) Mode. No IP Address is assigned while in this state
Green Blinking - The Director Lite has completed startup
but doesn't have an IP Address.
Green - Normal operation mode. The Director Lite is
assigned an IP Address and connected to the Home
Network.

Amber/Green Blinking - The Director Lite's Host software is
Status updating.

Green/Red Blinking - The Director Lite is updating its
configuration. This state can occur if the Pair button is
pressed or the Savant Power & Light App syncs to the
Director Lite. This state can also occur after the Director
Lite boots/reboots and is waiting for software to become
ready or if a firmware upgrade begins. The Director Lite
returns to normal operation once complete.
Red Blinking (fast) - The reset button is pressed and held
for 5 seconds. See the descriptions in the Reset (Button)
field above.
