Keep the plate door of the VICTOR Nivo closed to avoid the escape of gas. Gas supply must be switched off during downtime of the instrument.
Doing so could lead to hazardous laser radiation exposure. The VICTOR Nivo Alpha reader’s plate loading door and upper hatch are equipped with safety sensors which immediately prevent the laser operation if any of the hatches is opened during a measurement.
2 Introduction Measurement Technologies The VICTOR Nivo Multimode Plate Reader can be used to quantitatively measure light emitting or absorbing substances both from top and bottom side of the plate, making it suitable for several different assay types including kinetic, cellular, enzymatic and autoimmune assays.
These settings are also applied to the VICTOR Nivo and the control software. If you change any of the time settings on the control device, you have to switch off the VICTOR Nivo, unplug it from the mains and then restart it to have the time re-synchronized. ®...
The reader can be operated using any device having either Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, iOS or Android installed. The VICTOR Nivo comes with a pre-installed user interface software that is used to operate the reader and export the results. The user interface is accessed through a web browser.
