Verify that the vehicle belt is not twisted,
then buckle (Fig. C).
When correctly reclined, the red line on
restraint will be level with the ground.
If there is a problem achieving the proper
recline angle, collapse the recline adjuster
and place a rolled towel or pool noodle in
the crease of the vehicle seat to help level
the base.
WARNING!
described above. Do not raise the base
off of the front edge of vehicle seat; doing so
will reduce protection of your child.

Push the restraint firmly into the vehicle
seat while removing slack from the lap
portion of the vehicle belt, then the
shoulder portion (Fig. D).
7.
Lock your vehicle seat belt system as
instructed by your vehicle owner's manual.
8.
Adjust handle to In-Vehicle position.
9.
Verify that vehicle belt is tight and that the restraint is stable.
Restraint is stable when it moves less than 1 inch front to back or
side to side.
