Push the base firmly into the seat while
removing slack from the lap portion of the
vehicle belt, then the shoulder portion (Fig. E).

Route the shoulder belt webbing under seat
belt guides along top of tightened lap belt.
9.
Close lock-off plate over the vehicle belt,
then secure by closing both tabs while
pressing firmly on the lock-off plate
(Fig. F).
Lock-off is properly secured when tabs are flat
against lock-off plate.
10.
Check recline angle. If adjustment is necessary,
remove seat belt, adjust recline angle, repeat
entire process from step 3.
11.
Verify that vehicle belt is tight and that the
base is stable. Base is stable when it moves less
than 1 inch front to back or side to side.
Base Removal:
Remove child restraint from base, open lock-off,
unbuckle vehicle belt and remove vehicle belt
from belt guides.
