Transporting/Tipping of the Unit
Personal injury. Excessive weight. Two person lift.
Use only appropriate techniques when lifting
equipment. Improper lifting techniques could result
in equipment damage, death or serious injury.
See 3-2. The handle has two (2) locked
Figure
positions, UP position (A) and DOWN position
(B). When lifting or lowering the handle, press
the handle push button (C) in the direction of
the indicating arrow on the handle push but-
ton. Rotate handle until it locks into desired
position. Verify it is securely locked into posi-
tion.

• DO NOT store or transport the unit at an
angle greater than 15 degrees.
• Two (2) people are needed to lift the unit.
• Allow the unit to cool before transporting or
storing in an enclosed area.
• DO NOT move unit during operation.
Starting Pull Start Engines
Recoil Hazard. Recoil could retract unexpectedly.
Kickback could result in death or serious injury.
Equipment and property damage. Disconnect
electrical loads prior to starting or stopping unit.
Failure to do so could result in equipment and
property damage.
1. Unplug all electrical loads from the unit's
receptacles before starting the engine.
2. Place generator on a level surface.

6. Firmly grasp recoil handle and pull slowly
until increased resistance is felt.
7. Pull rapidly up and away.
NOTE: Engine has an auto-choke system that
automatically adjusts the choke for starting.
No manual adjustment is necessary.
NOTE: If engine fires, but does not continue to
run, repeat step 6.
