NOTE: When transporting and storing, keep
cylinder secured in an upright position with
cylinder valve turned off and the outlet
plugged. Keep cylinders away from heat and
ventilated when in a vehicle.
NOTE: Frost Accumulation on Liquid Propane
(LPG) Cylinders During Operation.
Frost on LPG cylinders and regulators is a
common occurrence during operation and is
typically not a cause for concern. It forms as
LPG vaporizes and travels from the cylinder to
the generator. Frost buildup is influenced by
factors such as:
• The size of the cylinder
• The rate of LPG consumption
• Humidity and other environmental condi-
tions
NOTE: Potential Impact on Generator Perfor-
mance
In certain situations, the LPG flow from the
cylinder to the generator may be reduced,
causing performance to decline. This may
result in the generator shutting down. This is
most likely to occur in cold conditions or when
the cylinder's temperature drops significantly,
reducing the rate of LPG vaporization. These
conditions are not caused by the generator
itself but by limitations in LPG delivery due to
environmental factors.
If you experience performance issues accom-
panied by frost or ice on the tank valve, hose,
or regulator, exchange the frosted cylinder
with a new one to allow warming and repeat
as needed.
