- Page 4 Preparation Remove existing mortise lockset, deadbolt or latch and use provided template to bore new holes. 1 3/8"~4 3/4" (40~120mm) 2 3/8" (60mm) 1" (25mm) or 2 3/4" (70mm) 9 1/2" (241mm) 1" (25mm) Hole for handle 1" (25mm) This product is recommended for professional installation. You may be required to use a hole saw and/or professional drilling tools to prepare door for installation.
- Page 5 Preparation 1. Configure your lockset according to your direction. Right In-Swing Door Right Out-Swing Door Left In-Swing Door Left Out-Swing Door Before installation, make sure to determine your door opening directions. This will be your reference in adjusting the latch , cam, interior and exterior handles.
- Page 6 Step 1 Adjusting the Latch and Cam Direction Change the latch and cam direction according to your door opening. The factory setting of the throw and cam is for right in-swing door. If you have a different door opening direction, please refer to Preparation (Page 4) for the correct latch direction and cam position.
- Page 7 Step 2 Installing the Lockset Install the mortise lockset into door pocket hole and tighten it with the 4 screws supplied. Route the cable inside the door pocket and place it aside. Exterior The lock body cable extends towards the inner side of the door.
- Page 8 Step 3 Reversing Door Handles The illustrations below shows how to shift the exterior and interior door handle from right to left direction. The factory setting of the handle is for a right handed door. Skip this step if you have a right handed door. To shift handle from right to a left handed door, follow the instructions below: Exterior Handle 1.
- Page 9 Step 4 Installing the Lock Cylinder Check door thickness and confirm if the cylinder blade needs to be cut; Insert the cylinder to the cylinder hole of the exterior assembly Secure the cylinder to the exterior assembly with two screws Insert washer on positioning rods .
- Page 10 Step 5 Installing the Spindle 5.1 Install spindle. Insert the spindle from the exterior side of the door, passing through the lockset and extending to the interior side. According to the thickness of the door, the spindle cut to length, as shown below.

Install the exterior assembly, mounting plate, escutcheon pad and secure with screws. Step 8 Final Check After installation is completed, lift both the interior and exterior handles up and down making sure they are running smoothly. Then check if the deadbolts and latch are thrown smoothly with the physical keys. Step 9 Installing Batteries Insert 4 x AA batteries make sure the batteries are correctly positioned. - Page 14 Step 10 Installing Door Strike Use installation template to drill hole on the door frame.
