FAQs

WHICH SHOCKS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH CRUSHER?
Crusher is compatible with all coil sprung, air, inline or piggyback shocks such as the stock Fox Float, Float DPS, Float X, Float DPX2, RockShox Deluxe, Vivid, Super Deluxe Air or Coil as well as Float X2, DHX2 or Öhlins TTX Air or TTX22. Crusher feature metric sized 205 x 65 mm shocks with Trunnion upper mount and 25 x 10 mm bottom hardware.

WHICH IS THE MAXIMUM FORK TRAVEL I CAN RIDE ON CRUSHER?
Crusher is compatible with forks up to 170 mm travel.

HOW DOES THE CRUSHER FRAME DIFFER FROM THE CRAFTY CARBON?
Geometry, suspension kinematics and travel are all the same, although Crusher uses an aluminium rear swingarm instead of carbon like Crafty Carbon.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIT A RANGE EXTENDER ON THE FRAME?
Crusher does not have specific brackets for installing a range extender and cannot be installed.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE BIKE SUCH AS GEARING OR TIRES FOR INSTANCE?
Bikes are hand-assembled at our Mondraker Headquarters and each bike's technical parameters and programming are also set by us to ensure its perfect performance and all relevant homologation. Wheel size and tire size, number of speeds and its different sprocket numbers etc., are defined into each bike's setting program for proper performance. Any modification or system firmware update must be carried out by an official Mondraker Dealer.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO REMOVE THE BATTERY FROM CRUSHER?
Crusher is focused on pure performance and designed with the lightest possible weight in mind so the battery is internal and non removable. To charge the battery you'll need to plug the charger directly to the battery port below the main tube. If, by any chance a battery removal is needed, any Mondraker Dealer will be able to take out the battery removing the motor first.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FULLY CHARGE THE BATTERY?
If the battery is fully drained to 0%, with the original charger it takes about 5 hours to fully charge the battery to 100%. WHICH SIZE SHOULD I BUY? Sizes differ from one rider to other. Personal preferences are very unique and how you ride your bike is also important when choosing the correct size. This is a standard size chart you can use as a guideline: S 1.58 - 1.68 M 1.67 - 1.76 L 1.75 - 1.86 XL 1.85 - 1.95

WHICH MAXIMUM DROPPER POST LENGTH CAN I USE ON THE CRUSHER?
See table on SEAT POST INSERTION DEPTH section of this manual.

WHICH TYPE OF MAINTENANCE OR SAFETY CHECKS DO MOTORS REQUIRE?
Absolutely none. Nor is it required to lubricate any parts in the drive unit nor disassemble it... All you have to do is taking care for it as a traditional mountain bike. It is important to mention, however, as a precaution applicable to any mountain bike: electronic parts and, specifically, the bottom bracket area of the drive unit should never be cleaned with any high-pressure cleaning machine. Therefore, it is not recommended to use high-pressure water jet to clean the cranks axle directly as the electronic parts of the drive unit can be seriously damaged.
