Battery Replacement

If "Recharge" is displayed and/or "
charged, replace the battery with a new Panasonic HHR-P401 battery.
To avoid memory loss, replace within 3 minutes.

Lay the handset on a flat surface.
Carefully insert a flat metal object
and turn slowly to remove the
cover.

Replace the battery, and close the
cover.

Be sure to charge the new battery
for about 7 hours in order to
display the battery strength prompt
correctly (p. 11).

Adding Another Phone

This unit will not function during a power failure. To connect a standard
telephone on the same line, use a T-adaptor.
