6-7 LOCK FUNCTION
This function prevents accidental frequency and function changes.
It operates both in the DIAL and MEMORY CHANNEL MODES.
By pushing the ''D" (LOCK) key while depressing the ""FUNC" key,
the displayed frequency (and other data, if any) is fixed, and the
letter ''L'' is displayed above the 100kHz digit to show the LOCK
FUNCTION is actuated. At this time, all key functions are disabled.
To clear the LOCK function, push the ''D'' (LOCK) key again while
depressing the ''FUNC" key.
6-8 SCANNING OPERATIONS
The IC-02A/AT/E provides MEMORY SCAN and PROGRAMMED
SCAN operations.
