5-8 PRIORITY FUNCTION

Recalling the CALL CHANNEL memorized in M3.
The PRIORITY FUNCTION checks another frequency such as a
local repeater or calling frequency.
1) Memorize your favorite frequency into memory channel 4.
2) Set the desired operating frequency.
3) Push and hold the [FUNC] SWITCH and push the [4] /[PRIO]
key.
e The transceiver receives on the operating frequency for a period
of five seconds and on the priority channel for one second.
e A dot appears above the decimal point to show the transceiver is
in the PRIORITY FUNCTION.
