(D ANTENNA CONNECTOR Connect the supplied flexible antenna. All antennas connected to
the transceiver must be 5082 and have a BNC connector.
| (2) LIGHT SWITCH [LIGHT] Press this switch down to turn ON the backlight for the FRE-
QUENCY DISPLAY.
(3) RF POWER OUTPUT Switches the output power of the transceiver between HIGH and
SELECTOR SWITCH LOW. In the HIGH (out) position, the output power is 2W at 8.4V.
[HIGH] [LOW] In the LOW (locked in) position, the output power is 0.5W at any
voltage between 5.5 and 16V.
(2) SQUELCH CONTROL Sets the squelch threshold level. Rotate this control completely
[SQUELCH] counterclockwise to turn OFF the squelch function, and clockwise
Escape E to raise the threshold level. |

[VOLUME] increase the audio level.
