Search and sort functions

Whenever searching or sorting is possible, the corresponding search and sort buttons appear.

Arming areas

If smartkey or blocklock controls are installed for your system, areas can only be armed with
these controls. A keypad cannot be used to arm areas.

The alphanumeric keypad screen appears.
Insert a search term with the alphanumeric keypad and the following commands:
To sort functions, press
The buttons for alphabetical sorting appear.
To sort from A to Z, press A-Z.
Tor sort from Z to A, press Z-A.
To filter, press
The buttons showing the possible filter selections appear. The possible filter selections
depend on the currently displayed menu. For example, areas can be filtered by their
arming status and devices can be filtered by their fault or bypass status.
Choose a filter selection.
Description
Shows an alphanumeric keypad screen.
Shows a list of sort categories appropriate to the function
and the A-Z and Z-A sort functions:
– A-Z: Alphabetical order
– Z-A: Reverse alphabetical order
Description
Creates capital letters when pressed once.
Clears all input.
Inserts a space.
Clears the last character.
Starts the search process.
