Connect, power on, and log on to SERT-100GE You can operate the SERT-100GE unit as a desktop unit or a rack-mounted chassis. If you plan to use the SERT-100GE unit on a desk, please install the provided 4 rubber feet to protect the desk from scratching.

Chapter 3 How do I... Method 1: Configure DHCP-based IP If your network has a DHCP service available, the SERT-100GE unit automatically attempts to acquire an IP address. In this case, there is no configuration necessary, but you need to know the IP addresses for other operations.
4. Restart the unit for changes to take effect. Use the kcos system reboot command to reboot the unit. 5. After you restart the unit, type exit to close the command line interface. At the completion of this procedure, the SERT-100GE IP addressing will be as you configured it in the Administrative Console. Set the system time We recommend setting the SERT-100GE system time by using an NTP server before installing any licenses.
