Follow these instructions
to replace the Critical Link
Touch Screen Controllers
with Ultratronik
Controllers in the
MercoMax MHC Touch
Screen Visual Holding
Cabinets. If a unit has two
controllers BOTH
controllers MUST be replaced.
1. Remove power from the unit.
2. Remove the lid and/or panels
to access the failed controller
(see Figures 1-3). It may vary
based on model.
3. Disconnect any cables or
wires from the rear of the
touch screen, marking their
position for reassembly.
4. Remove the screw attaching the 8-pin locator
harness and discard the harness (see Figure 4).
5. It may be necessary to remove the two (2) screws
attaching the speaker bracket and set out of the way
(see Figure 5).
6. It may be necessary to remove the two (2) screws
attaching the power supply bracket and set aside out
of the way (see Figure 6).
7. Supporting the screen from the front, remove the
seven (7) Phillips screws (3 top and bottom; 1 middle)
attaching the touch screen to the bracket (see Figure 7). Discard the
existing controller bracket.
