Connect the electronic rpm indi-
cator to the spark plug wire.
Start the engine.
The idle engine rpm should be 1600 ±
100 rpm approximately. In that case, the
engine does not make the rear wheel
move.
If necessary:
Act on the set screw «5» located

to the right of the fuel tank, op-
erating from the front left side of
the scooter.
TIGHTEN the screw (clockwise) to in-
crease rpms.
UNDO the screw (anticlockwise) to re-
duce rpms.
Accelerate and decelerate
some times with the throttle grip
to check its correct functioning
and that the idle speed is stable.
NOTE
DO NOT TURN THE AIR SET SCREW
TO AVOID CHANGING THE CARBU-
RETION ADJUSTMENT. TAKE YOUR
VEHICLE TO AN OFFICIAL APRILIA
DEALER IF NECESSARY.

Verbindt een elektronische toe-
renteller aan de kabel van de
bougie.
Leg de motor stil.
Het minimum rotatieregime van de motor
moet ongeveer 1600 ± 100 toeren/min
zijn, in dit geval wordt het achterwiel niet
in rotatie gebracht door de motor.
Indien nodig voert men het volgende uit:
Door te handelen langs links
achteraan van het voertuig, han-
delt men op de registerbout «5»,
die zich op de rechter kant van
de brandstoftank bevindt.
Door ze VAST TE DRAAIEN (in wijzers-
zin) wordt het toerental verhoogd.
Door ze LOS TE DRAAIEN (in tegenwij-
zerszin) wordt het toerental verlaagd.
Door te handelen op het gas-
handvat, versnelt en vertraagt
men enkele keren om de correc-
te werking te controleren en of
het minimum toerental stabiel
blijft.

VAN DE IJKING VAN DE CARBURATIE
