Checking the electrolyte level

To check the electrolyte level
Remove the battery cover.
Check that the electrolyte level
is between the two «MIN» and
«MAX » notches stamped on
the battery side.
Otherwise:
04_21
Remove the cell caps.
Restore the electrolyte level by
adding distilled water.
CAUTION
USE ONLY DISTILLED WATER TO
TOP-UP ELECTROLYTE FLUID. DO
NOT EXCEED THE «MAX» MARK
SINCE THE LEVEL INCREASES DUR-
ING RECHARGE.

Long periods of inactivity

If the scooter is inactive longer than fif-
teen days, it is necessary to recharge the
battery to avoid sulphation,

Voor de controle van het elektrolytpeil
moet het
accudeksel verwijderd worden.
Controleer of het vloeistofpeil
zich tussen de twee strepen
"MIN" en "MAX", op de zijkant
van de accu, bevindt.
Anders handelt men als volgt:
Verwijder de doppen van de ele-
menten.
Herstel het vloeistofpeil door ge-
destilleerd water toe te voegen.
LET OP
VOOR HET BIJVULLEN VAN DE ELEK-
TROLYTVLOEISTOF, GEBRUIKT MEN
ENKEL
OVERSCHRIJD NOOIT DE «MAX» RE-
FERENTIE, OMDAT HET PEIL TIJ-
DENS HET LADEN STIJGT.

Lange stilstand

Wanneer het voertuig inactief blijft voor
langer dan 15 dagen, moet men de accu
opladen om sulfatatie te vermijden,
Verwijder de accu en plaats ze
op een frisse en droge plaats.
