Unpacking
WARNING
The product and the packaging material are not
children's toys!
Do not let children play with plastic bags, films or
small parts! There is a danger of choking or suffo-
cating!
• Open the packaging and carefully remove the product.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the product and accessory parts for transport
damage. Immediately report any damage to the trans-
port company that delivered the Product. Later claims
will not be recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating manual before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Spare parts
can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for the product.

Before commissioning
CAUTION
Danger of injury!
Do not insert the battery until the battery-powered tool
is ready for use.
WARNING
Danger of injury!
Remove the battery from the power tool before carrying
out any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool
change, etc.) and when transporting and storing it.
There is a risk of injury if the on/off switch is operated
unintentionally.
8.1
Fitting the bar (9) (Fig. 1 - 5)
Note:
There is a cable inside the bar. Do not crush or stretch
the cable.
1. Push the lower bar (9) into the upper bar (5).
2. Insert the M6 carriage bolt (8) into the square recepta-
cle on the upper bar (5). Screw the wing nuts (7) onto
the M6 carriage bolt (8).
3. Press and hold down the spring ball (11). Push the
bar (5 + 9) into the bar mount (12). The spring ball
(11) engages in the hole provided.
4. Guide the M6 hexagonal bolt (10) into the bolt mount
on the bar mount (12). Screw the wing nuts (7) onto
the M6 hexagonal screw (10).
8.2
Adjust the guide handle (6)
(Fig. 1, 6)
Note:
In order to be able to work with the product, the guide
handle must be in line with the handle.
1. Loosen the wing nut (7).
2. Turn the guide handle (6) until it is in line with the han-
dle (1). Push the guide handle (6) to a working height
that you find comfortable.
3. Tighten the wing nut (7) again.

Operation
ATTENTION
Make sure that the ambient temperature does not ex-
ceed 50°C and does not fall below -20°C during work.
ATTENTION
The product is part of the 20V IXES series and may on-
ly be operated with batteries of this series. Batteries
may only be charged with battery chargers of this se-
ries. Observe the manufacturer's instructions.
9.1
Inserting/removing the batteries
(21) into/from the battery mount
(Fig. 7)
Inserting the batteries
1. Open the cover (20).
2. Push the two batteries (21) into the battery mount.
The batteries (21) click into place audibly.
3. Close the cover (20).
Removing the batteries
1. Open the cover (20).
2. Press the battery release button (22) and pull the bat-
teries (21) out of the battery mount.
3. Close the cover (20).
9.2
Adjusting the ejection direction
(Fig. 9)
ATTENTION
The lever may only be actuated when idle.
Note:
Positions: Left = -30°, centre = 0°, right = +30°
1. Switch the product off.
2. Pull the lever (14) upwards and turn the lever (14) into
the required position. The snow guidance fins (17) ro-
tate in the ejection direction.
3. Release the lever (14).
