Trouble with Security Settings
Why do I have the message "Your computer might be at risk" each time I
boot my computer?
•
If you have the message "Automatic Updates is turned off" addition to the above
message, turn on the Automatic Updates to enable your computer periodically to
update Windows.
•
If you have the message "No firewall is turned on" addition to the above message,
turn on the Firewall to protect your computer against viruses and other security
threats.
Other Troubles
Why is the MP series not powered on?
•
When the MP series is connected to the host computer using the DirectHD
function, the MP series cannot be powered on. Disconnect the MP series from the
host computer. (Refer to the Disconnecting MP Series from Host Computer section
in Chapter 6.)
Why do I get the message Pop-up blocked in the information bar?
•
The Microsoft Internet Explorer restricts display of pop-ups using the popup
blocker function.
•
If you want to have the pop-ups on the current web site;
1.
Start up the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
2.
Click the information bar.
3.
Select "Temporarily Allow Pop-ups" or "Always Allow Pop-ups from this
site...".
"Always Allow Pop-ups from this site..." will always allow for the
permitted site to have pop-up ads.
•
If you want to have pop-up ads on the specified web site;
1.
Start up the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
2.
Open the Tools menu and select the Pop-up Blocker – Pop-up Blocker
Settings....
