Why aren't the icons in My Computer window shown properly?
•
The peripheral devices connected to your host computer may cause it. Press the F5
key. (This may not work properly due to the setting condition or the installed
operating system in your host computer.)
Why does a message Please insert a disk drive.... appear?
•
Your MP series may be still set the user password. Cancel the password using the
Password Utility of the DirectHD utility. (Refer to the Canceling User Password
section in Chapter 6.)
Trouble with INSTANT PLAY
Why doesn't INSTANT PLAY start up when I press the DVD/CD button?
•
By default, with the display cover closed, the DVD/CD button is disabled. To
enable the button;
1.
Open the Setup Utility and then, the Advanced menu.
2.
Select INSTANT PLAY at Close and press Enter.
3.
Set it to Enabled and press Enter.
4.
Exit the Setup Utility with saving the change.

While using the DirectHD function, INSTANT PLAY cannot be used. Stop the
connection between the MP series and the host computer.
•
The file may be damaged. Reinstall the system of the computer and then, reinstall
INSTANT PLAY. (Refer to the Reinstalling INSTANT PLAY section in the
Appendixes.)
Why can't I play the disc?
•
Copy-controlled audio CDs are not supported by INSTANT PLAY.
Why don't the remote control and keyboard respond on INSTANT
PLAY?
•
With the setup menu displayed, the remote control and the selected keys of the
keyboard are disabled. Press and hold the Ctrl key, then, press the Esc key to hide
the setup menu.
