    8. Appendix 8-1. Overview of serial communications DC-2/4 is equipped with a communication interface accessible from a SERIAL port. A direct operation is available via SERIAL communication from the HOST computer. As shown in Fig.8-2, the connector of the SERIAL port is a D-Sub 9 pin male connector which is located on the unit back face.
