Warranty Period
The warranty period for this tablet PC product is three (3) years from the date of
product purchase. The warranty period for the rechargeable battery pack and any
digital writing pen that come with the tablet PC product is one (1) year from date
of product purchase. The AAAA battery for the pen is not included in the
Limited Warranty.
Types of Warranty Service
Your Compaq Limited Warranty consists of repair or replacement of defective
parts, including hard drives identified by Compaq Intelligent Manageability
software as "prefailure" status.
Free Pick-up Warranty Service
This service is currently only available in Australia
product.
With this service in Australia, the Compaq Service Centre will arrange for the
collection, repair, and return of your Compaq product during the applicable
period on the Australian mainland, including Tasmania. This service is only
available for products purchased and located within Australia.
With this service in New Zealand, the Compaq Service Centre will arrange for
the collection, repair, and return of your Compaq product during the applicable
period on the New Zealand mainland. This service is only available for products
purchased and located within New Zealand.
The Compaq Service Centre will arrange to pick up your product at your
convenience. Compaq will repair and return your product.
