If the motors are started in this way attention should be paid that no persons or objects are in the vicinity of the turning rollers or chains. In some countries, e.g. Belgium, the motors must be switched on at calibration. A motor start-up test can also be conducted.

    Troubleshooting Troubleshooting Work on any electrical components of the brake tester (control cabinet, roller set) may only be carried out by qualified electricians or authorized service technicians. The test stand shows an error code when there is a malfunction. The error code is indicated by the pointers of the small measurement range.
