Lubrication Refer to the illustrations on the following pages for locations and the chart below for lubrication intervals. For ease of access to the grease fittings, an extension adapter is recommended. Rottler recommends the Lincoln Model 5855 Extension Adapter. All linear bearings on Rottler Surfacing machines are equipped with the latest sealing and lubrication technologies available, ensuring long life and low maintenance requirements.

The carriage will drop down until the chip shield makes contact with the wood block that was placed under it. Remove the 2 wires connected to the ballscrew motor and then remove the 4 SHCS that hold the motor and brake assembly to the ballscrew housing.
