Structure of the Instruction Manual The Manual for the use and maintenance of Autec CCSs consists of different parts, that altogether form the Manual; the Manual must be read carefully, understood and applied by the CCS's Owner, User and by all those Persons that, for any reasons, may operate with the CCS or with the Machine where it is installed.

    AIRBM3V7L rechargeable battery The object of this part of the Manual is the AIRBM3V7L battery, located inside the A8 (Model A08) Remote station of an Autec CCS, and the DC Plug Cable that is needed to recharge the Station. Always insert the battery in the Remote station, close the cover and fasten the screw: never use the Remote station if the battery cover is not fastened with its screw.

    Warnings for use Only use original Autec batteries and only recharge batteries with battery chargers and/or power supply units provided by Autec. Never use damaged batteries (e.g. crushed, punctured, swollen or leaking batteries). Never use batteries if they have been dropped even just once, as their internal components may have been damaged, even though this cannot be seen from the outside.

    Do not attempt to repair damaged or faulty batteries. Autec cannot be held responsible for any use that does not comply with the provisions and directions provided in the Manual, and for any damage that may result from improper, incorrect or irrational use of the battery.

    AIRDOCK01 Docking station The AIRDOCK01 Docking station can only be used to recharge the Air series' A8 (Model A08) Remote station. Socket Remote station's seat Contacts A A8 (Model A08) Remote station must only be recharged through the AIRDOCK01 Docking station supplied by Autec.
  • Page 19 The Docking station AIRDOCK01 can be powered exclusively by the wall-mount power supply unit or by the car power supply unit originally provided by Autec. Never use the Docking Station and the power supply unit if they are damaged. The power supply unit must be connected to a socket that can be easily reached and disconnected.
