Turn the printer OFF.

If a USB cable is connected, turn the computer off, and then
disconnect the USB cable.

Disconnect the power plug from the AC power outlet.

Remove all the interface cables and the power cord from the
printer.

Remove the two screws and remove the network board.
IMPORTANT
Do not touch the network board parts, printed wire, or connectors with your hands.

Switch the DIP switch 1 to ON.
Set the DIP switches with the tip of a ball-point pen etc.
IMPORTANT
When setting the DIP switches, be careful not to damage the main board with the
tip of a ball-point pen etc. Do not use a sharp object such as a mechanical pencil.

Insert the network board into the expansion slot.
Hold the metal panel portions of the network board and insert the board straight
while aligning it with the guide rails inside the expansion slot.
