Messaging Features

This chapter introduces basic messaging features, such as sending
and receiving e-mail and Short Message Service (SMS) messages,
viewing and managing your message folders, customising mes-
sage notifications, and using MSN Messenger to communicate with
others.

Sending e-mail and SMS messages

There are several ways to send e-mail and SMS messages with
your Phone. The most common way to send messages is from
Inbox or from a contact card.
For information about text input, see "Entering text and numbers on
your Phone" on page 31.
Sending messages from Inbox
You can send e-mail messages by synchronising, or by connecting
directly to an e-mail server through your Internet service provider
(ISP) or a corporate network.

tion" on page 86.
To configure e-mail account
Note: For help in configuring your email account please visit
www.hellomoto.com and download the MPX200 Email Configura-
tion Wizard.
You have to configure your phone first before you send/receive e-
mail and SMS.
1. On the Home screen, press the
Inbox, and then press the Action button.
2. Press the
Menu
soft key, select
ton.
3. Select
E-mail Setup
and press Action button.
4. Press
Next
and enter all the necessary information. Press
ish
when the configuration is complete.
